Is there such thing as an Asperger Syndrome dormant gene?

I have a brother with Asperger Syndrome and I think he may have gotten it from my mother. She doesnt seem like she has it as severe as my brother does, but I can still tell she either has Aspergers, or some form of autism. I do not have any form of autism but I was wondering if I had kids, if I could pass them these genes even thought I do not show signs of autism or aspergers syndrome?
