Is it normal to dream this way?

Ok so, sometimes i dream about stuff already happening around me while sleeping like i had a dream we was in Hotel and i was playing around with the Light blob from a lamp in the lobby and by mistake while i was playing with it i was unscrewing it not knowing i was then it fell and busted right when it busted i woke up and my dad had dropped a glass inside the kitchen the light blob fell the same time the Glass did also i had a dream i was ripping sleeping tent's (don't ask why?) and when i woke up from that dream my dog was ripping my little sisters mini tenth on my bed is this normal the way my dreams go sometimes?
