New pet scorpion- Care tips/help?!?

This is terrible(no offence) The substrate should not be sand. They cant burrow easily in it and it retains almost no moisture. The substrate should be peat moss, vermiculite, peat moss/vermiculite mix, or coco nut fiber. I personally use coconut fiber. There should be at least 4 inches of substrate so they can burrow. The tank size and hides is right. They need humidity of at least 80%. They are a tropical species of scorpion. They do not like light so replace the light it has with an infrared bulb(they cant see infrared) or the ceramic heat emitter. The ceramic heat emitter is preferable because it produces no light at all. If your worried about it being to hot than but a thermostat to turn it down. That's what I did. I like to keep the humidity really high so I spray the cage 2-3 times a day heavily. I also pour some water in a corner so it can go to the bottom of the tank and absorb into the substrate to keep the humidity up all day. I do that twice daily. Buy a humidity/temperature gauge at Walmart. There about 10 dollars. They will just about anything that moves. Sometimes they even eat each other. its recommended to keep them singly but they can be housed together without too many problems. They are found in colonies in the wild. Don't feed them wild things cause they might have pesticides on them and contain parasites. idk how often they molt but i know they molt six times than they they stop. Its very hard to distinguish a male from a female. Take good care of your scorpion and don't listen to these people I know what im doing.

Why do step parents suck so much? (long story)?

Ok so in my case I am living with my mothers husband and he annoys the living crap out of me. Is my brooder large enough?

We are getting chickens soon, and have set up a brooder for them. The question is... is it big enough? It is a dog crate approximately 2'x1.5'. The brooder will hold 3 chicks. I have an antique brass glass-shade floor lamp. It is perfect for me as I play piano. The U shaped glass bowl is attached to an arm that swivels outwards. The light bulb has a very wide screw base that measures 1 1/2 inch wide and is approximately 7 inches tall. This is a three-way bulb. The markings on the bulb top reads Westinghouse Eye Saving 100 200 300w 3-LITE 120V USA. Even so I cannot locate any such bulb online. So let me give me you a backstory of what happened. 2 years ago i was diagnosed with tuberculosis. My doctor gave me some pills to silent the virus because it was dormant. My doctor (like an idiot) told me to double up the pills and it resulted to liver failure. I was just 13. i was in 8th grade and was living life, talking to girls, getting my first kiss, hanging out. Everything was just gone in a day.So after i had my surgery, i tried to fight my sadness for my fathers sake,i loved him so much i mean i couldnt show him i was sad. So then around a few days later i was on facebook and i saw all my friends have all of theses albums of these senior days like jersey day, crazy hat day, twin day, etc. And i remember i was talking to all my friends about what we were gonna do on each day...and i saw the pictures and everyone smiling and laughing. I was broken. I dont think i ever cried so much.i was at mount sinai and they gave me a view of central park and i would see kids there and playing and laughing and i would just stare out the window for hours at a time. at other hours i would stare at myself in the mirror. So at night i wouldnt sleep at all and i would just stare at my thing that tells you the heart rate and stuff. So then after 20 days i was released from the hospital thinking the depression was going to stay there and it didnt. i dont have any self confidence anymore with my huge scar that takes up my stomach and every since then ive attempted suicide twice but never finshed it.So when i started high school in september, i have more depressed than ever. I mad friends and all but the depression is eating me. When I thoght i was done with my life, around 1 year anniversary of my surgery, i met this girl and well it was love at sight (kinda corny i know) And well ever since then she keeps me alive. i love the way she smiles and the way she can wear sweatpants and t shirt and look just as beautiful. Now, she is concerned about a lamp that comes on by its self when certain appliances are turned on in another part of the house. This next fact may be important. The lamp is a standard lamp. First time raising turkeys?

Ive been through multiple flocks of chickens and have gotten the process of raising them down pretty well. Lost a couple flocks due to bad latches on an old coop and a hungry fox but we have since built a new coop and no problems so far. I recently got 6 baby chickens to replace my old hens who have stopped laying and will replace them as they die off to keep our flock around 15. The babies recently went outside and now I have room for my turkeys which I just picked up this morning. I only got 2 as I dont want to overcrowd my back yard, and we were considering using them as thanksgiving dinner but now im not too sure if they will be ready by then if they are 3 days old today? They are white ones i forget the name of the breed. I currently have them in my basement with a heat lamp and food and water. I was just curious if turkeys bond with humans? I had one rooster who followed me like a dog but I have never had another quite like him. I would enjoy friendly turkeys but then Im not sure i could bring myself to eat them! I also want to check and make sure it would be ok to keep them in with my chickens and goats when they get big enough to go outside. Their pasture is maybe 200x100 feet. Just looking for some tips. You know a power strip that allows you to plug multiple outlet plugs into it to power multiple electrical appliances.The power strip itself is attached to an extension chord that is plugged into a wall outlet. The six appliances that occupy the six outlet plugs are my computer (tower), my monitor, computer speakers, power plug for modem/router, then I switch off one of the outlets between a lamp and printer (I have ran out of outlets so this is how I use both). The last outlet on this power strip is occupied with another extension chord which is attached to yet another power strip. On this other strip, I have a 36 inch flat screen t.v. plugged in, an alarm clock, a DVD player, and a 120 watt guitar amp (I don't always have the guitar amp on obviously but when I do I don't remove any plug). I hope you have already guessed that in this room there are no wall outlets, which is of course why I do all of this. I guess I'm trying to ask, IS THIS SAFE! I actually really think about it when I'm switching the one plug between my lamp and printer (don't want to get shocked), or when I'm playing my guitar (afraid of damage to amp). Why do step parents suck so much? (long story)?

Ok so in my case I am living with my mothers husband and he annoys the living crap out of me. I don't even want to come home from school anymore because he got laid off of his job so he just does nothing and it bothers me because I do eight hours of hardwork in school, then do the house work too. When He does nothing but sleep in, watch tv, play on the computer etc. It pisses me off everytime I come home he is sitting there playing on the computer while I am cleaning. he could at leat help out some not a lot but some. What pissed me off today was when I took out the trash and came back after a bad day of school he had the nerve to say I don't do any of my chores and I clearly do, so I got angry and talking back a little and called my mom because that made me mad. My mom said that she would talk to him but I don't think she is. I just wish it was just me and my mom because he causes so much conflict. I also hate it when I am talking to my mom and then he trys his best to interrupt my conversation with her it's so annoy. I don't like him mainly because he is very childish, I will give you an example over winter break when he was working I came out of my room to get some breakfast I go to get the orange juice that my mother paid for and top is screwed on tight so I am thinking it wasn't like this yesterday and my mom would do that so I put hot water on it to make it easy to open and it worked. How can you improve? you can improve by working on that upper muscles of yours. To get that speed, you need great leg muscles and upper muscles. An anime series I watch on direct tv VoD a couple years ago.?

Hello there! A couple of years ago I watch an anime series that direct tv was broadcasting on video on demand. N it's been nagging at me but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of the anime. What I remember from the anime is that, there's a boy who's weak yet he has a strong dormant magical power within him, something happen to him when he was little that put his life in jeopardy whenever he uses magic, so his sister hit him with some sort of magical forgetful mallet that erases his memory of using magic, so he doesn't even know that he have magic powers. Which baffles him when the president of his class who wields a sword and a magical girl from another magic world are vying for his love to become his wife because his suppose to be the strongest man there is. Though the class president sword wielding girl just wanna have his baby before he looses his strong magical power. That's mostly all I remember of the anime, so if u think you know what the anime is Please help me n share. I don't blame you a bit for feeling as though you are being used. Because, in fact you are being used by your friend. However, she may not be using you for the reasons you believe. If you are really put off by her behavior you could always very covertly locate and engage in these volunteer activities without her knowledge. At some point in time the people in these various organizations will become aware of your true desire to be helping and making a difference and of her just tagging along. Eventually, it will catch up with her. Im scared shitless right now...i may have tapeworm...?

For the couple of months now i've been a bit paranoiac about tapeworms because ive gained a solid 29 pounds by going to the gym and im worried that if i get infected all my hardwork will be gone and i was really skinny before that like 121 pounds . On a dual booted mac, can i format only the windows side while not affecting the mac side?

I know a windows virus wont affect the mac side since they aren't written in the same internal language so to speak. but if i get one on my windows side, can i just format the windows side only and get rid of it (without wiping the mac side). Humidity in a cageeee? Help? 10POINTS!?

I just purchased a Pac Man Frog (Horned Frog). He's very tiny now no where near full grown I have everything I need for him. My rooms super cold and There's nothing I can do about that..... It's in the basement so i can't keep the humidity in the cage at 80%... I got it to 55% tops... I have a wire mesh top on the cage so What I did was I sprayed the cage just enough and I put plastic wrap over the mesh and a damp towel under the mesh to keep most of it in then On the other side I have a heat lamp to get the temp where it needs to be around 80 degrees but I can't seem to get the humidity correct... any help?

Some players are just difficult to play/rally against because of their topspin and the depth of their balls. Hitting against the wall is great practice when that's all you have. Can anyone get a CD4 T-cell count done? How much does it cost, how long until the results get in and where?

can I get it done? Also, if a person had a normal CD4 t cell numbers before they contracted HIV, and they had HIV unknowingly (no symptoms) for at least 6 to 7 months. Would they have below normal CD t cells, or at least less than when before they had hiv when it was normal? I would assume a virus needs to replicate constantly and I read hiv doesn't just lie dormant and do nothing ever, so it stands to reason t cells are dying off.

Are these allergic symptoms due to pets or what is this?

I am having this strange problem, i dont have running nose but i do have some mucus so when i blow my nose i get blocked nose, when i breath i dont sense much cold in my chest but at times i feel very slightly difficult to breath, i dont have sour throat but when i cough i get some amount of mucus. Question about a manga about Illusions?

I went into get a ultra sound because I was having severe abdominal pain, and they found out that I have a large cyst on my right ovary. i was born 10 days overdue, my mum had to be induced but the actual labour was fine....ive always been very lazy and easygoing. never caused any trouble as a teen etc. my middle sister caused problems during the pregnancy, she was born on time but the labour was very hard. my mum needed lots of stiches and lost lots of blood....she has always been very hard work. as a toddler she would scream contiounsly, go blue and be sick. she was very hardwork as a teenager, making problems out of nothing, loving arguments etc. my youngest sister was a very breezy pregnancy. born at 35 weeks but had no problems. a very easy baby that loved attention. she is really fun and bubbly, always doing something, never keeps still. we find it really funny that our personalities match our pregnancys and births. has anyone else noticed this with their children. xxx

I knew that it might have swim bladder disease but it might not be swim bladder disease b/c since his tail is rotted he sunk below and kept getting sucked onto the hang on filter. so the next day it died. So always buy/choose a goldfish that is healthy with no diseases.

twins use to run strong in my family. My great great grandmother had 6 sets of twins (she was a twin herself) but my great grandma was the last twin. Neither my grandmother nor mother had twins. Why self realization is important?

Very thorough and well written. I think that self realization is very important seeing as how self sacrifice is entry level Christianity. That being said, the ones who "fight" in the name of God the most, approaching people as if they are superior to them (though they're believers of God) are actually going against the Bible thus contradicting themselves. The ones with the highest stage of realization understand that everyone is created equal and that no one is superior to another person no matter what their public stature or "rank" is. However, seeing as how I am of the Christian faith, I know that we (as Christians) are not to necessarily "fight" in the name of God, stressing that our religion is the greatest of all, but we are suppose to be witnesses of God's glory (in our perspective) while also respecting the views/beliefs/opinions of others. I'm a student, no need to mention what grade, but no matter what I'm still considered as a child to many. I have only heard about how great the previos generations were. As of now, I consider most people around my age in my community to be total insensitive, belligerent, and disgusting jerks. I know many who have stolen from hard working shopkeepers, smoked marijuana, and had girlfriends at the age of 8. I can go on and on. They don't appreciate hardwork, easiest way is the best way. Having concept means that the person has understood the mechanism of that particular thing...& he can solve numerous questions from that topic cause how twisted the question may be..the person understands the loop hole of the topic. Yes it is normal to be more wary of investing your full emotions after having failed attempts at relationships. When the right girl comes along and you will know when she is right for you, you will feel those emotions again. Just dont protect yourself by being completely shut off. You will be hurting yourself worse in the long run. Relationships hurt sometimes, but its better than being unable to feel. Women do this too. It is a way of saving our self humiliation, hurt and disappointment.

20 is a lot,and a lot of work.I have been working with 3 vines for two years now.Hopefully I'll have enough grapes this year for wine.Sounds like you got a good start.Dad has about 20 vines and has been making his own wine since 1996.Some years are better then others.Must just be the crazy weather here in Illinois.Give them miracle grow this first year,that will help promote growth and get a good root system set up.Do not prune them this year or next,let them get established.The third year in early spring will be the time to prune.Always prune in early spring before any growth starts.Other then that I really can't say much.It's kind of a trial and error process of learning depending on your variety and climate.Once they are established they are pretty hardy.Good Luck and have fun.

I question myself the paradox of this belief, lets say you think up with the derivative that "I am not knowledgable enough, or capable enough...to do what ever it is you want" or lets say you come up with an idea about how to make money, but then you think I won't make enough money from it, or it will take too much time and hardwork so I start seeking for another idea which is better. The bad side of this perfectionistic belief is the constant seeking for the better and how limiting it can be in taking action because you feel you still don't have enough or not ready.
