A question(s) both long time martial artists and short?

i have no regrets after devoting approx 46 years of my life to the study of martial arts,sacrifices , yes lots but i have been blessed to meet some of the most genuine human beings who are also some of the greatest martial artists anywhere . in the past i neglected my family though my selfishness [ martial artists not necessarily the brightest].ultimately i have learned that ego is the martial artists toughest opponent.i read a quote somewhere understand self and nothing is impossible
