Check all your connections are snug, and reset your isp's modem once again, If you have a data/voice modem with battery backup, you will have to do more than unplug it to reset it, there should be a reset button on the back, that you can depress with a thumbtack, or ball point pen. If this does not work, then you are going to have to call them up for further assistance.
