How do I get this giuy to like me?

There's this guy..I'm eight months older than him and we go to different schools. He's a friend of a friend and we actually just found out we live like 5 blocks away from eachother. We have been talking on facebook and I feel like we have so much in commoin. We both value hardwork and are good at reading people and communicationg. We also are interested in a lot of the same types of things and I feel like we both really understand eachother. I have decent looks..I'm 5'2 he's 5'11.. and i don't mind that we dont go to the same school because I think that provides the perfect amount of seperation. I can't get my mind off this guy..he is amazing...I have to have him..How?
